Camera Shy

I don't write captions much any more, but this picture deserves a special mention. This is Steve, the (female) cat owned by my uncle and aunt. She is extremely camera shy - the flash in particular, or any sort of light, aren't liked and it's very difficult to get pictures. That was without having to bend my body into an unusual position wedged between a chair and a table, along with books to stack the camera on as I was using the live view mode (which is sometimes not as sharp) to ensure absolutely no lights were turned on. I then used my wireless remote to capture the shot. I'm extremely proud of this. Squee!
